Decalizing

Before wishing everyone a lovely Christmas if they celebrate it, here's one last post about the incredible vinyl decals from Les Louisettes. Check out the examples to see some fun stuff. I love the picture frame!

Show of corridors

OK, I admit that I want the West Wing box set because I like the show. But beyond that, isn't this clever packaging? It's done like a box of dossiers.

Sippy sippy

I find that I'm quite seduced by the form of these Nûby sippy cups. They're so comfortingly round, almost like jelly beans.

The funny thing is, my baby only knows how to drink from a glass. She uses sippy cups as chew toys.

Wipe it

Holy crap, I need one of these. Wipe cases. Cute wipe cases!

Frippery

I love the idea of necessary things also looking good. Jackie Goes Jogging makes exercise wear that is awfully cute. Silly price, but cute. Via Closet Therapy.

Three wheels

My mother mentioned that soon -- well, not too soon -- the babe will be a kidlet and need a trike. And a Radio Flyer classic trike is just the way to go, I think.

The sea, the sea

Wonderful designer Sally Bartz of Hallsea has her new collection online, and an online store, which is a relief -- she was a little hard to find. I really like these sunglasses cases, which I would probably stuff with something else, but anyway, cute.

Another Coutorture giveaway

Sample and sample

A Freddy and Ma sample sale!

OK, it's not as fun as designing your own, but they are pretty damn nice.

Sit down

I adore this kid's chair from OFFI, with storage in the seat. Love it.

Actually, all the OFFI chairs are fantastic. Check 'em all out.

Coffee, coffee, tamp, tamp, tamp

I also like this handmade wooden tamper quite a bit. It is made of, and I quote, 'awesome myrtlewood.' Doesn't go with the knock box at all, but since I own neither, I can freely covet both.

Coffee, coffee, knock, knock, knock

Isn't this nice? It's a sort of modern-ish knock box. (I've been shopping for a new espresso machine recently, but not a knock box, I must admit. I am a philistine, and knock my grounds into the, um, trash can.)

Another kind of suitcase

Mahar Drygoods sells these little suitcases as gift boxes, but I think they're fab and would work as a temporary purse or just all-around fun box. (You can't buy them without buying something else at Mahar -- but that's really not hard to do, it's a treasure trove.)

Groove is in the heart

I read in the New Yorker about Rimowa luggage. I love hard cases anyway, plus these have color, so they are definitely covetable. The Rimowa website is pretty funny, though.

Blankety-blanx

I recently (today!) was given a Blanxart chocolate bar as a little giftie. First of all, the choc itself was great, but you know that of course I was wild about the wrapper. They are available in the US, luckily.

(And isn't Catalan great, all those Xs.)

My 200th post! And Paperchase

I was wondering why Borders had all these nifty things with neat-o patterns in their stores. Then I found out that they'd bought Paperchase, a UK company. It's sort of Tepper Jackson, but a bit more girly. Anyway, there are bags and notebooks and cards and pencil cases and lots of fun and silly fluff, all priced quite cheaply.

Boho international, that's me

I really like the clean lines and good colors of Hobo International.

This is such an excellent green, for example. Plain, but that one vertical seam gives it interest, and it's a good over-the-arm size.

This bag has such a nice shape, sort of 'overgrown coin purse' with a wallpapery pattern on the body. It's a little more complicated than their usual, but I think it comes off.

This is just girly pretty, and I love it. The killer aspect is that the handle is also yellow. Details like that matter!

In all its shapes and forms and glory

I just covet everything Taschen. I mean...Chairs. I love this.

Plus, they're funny: "The ubiquitous chair—you're probably sitting in one right now, have a look—in all its shapes and forms and glory."

This is a "best of" from 1000 Chairs. Smaller, so you can have it handy, you know.

Bluebird

I like this bird a lot. It's called a Blabla bird bank, don't know why, but what a pretty color.

Every day's a party

I passed by a display of Fiestaware the other day, and I was reminded of how, well, festive it is. The designs are actually very Deco, and the colors are great. Check out the sugar packet caddy, for instance. (Plus, how funny of a function.)
